My Arcade Empire Reviews

Great game but..

There are too many ads. Offer an paid option to disable ads at a reasonable price and you’d have a customer for life.

Games, games, games!

The character Leech is awesome 😂 This game is super fun. The banter between characters is very entertaining. The art, sounds, gameplay are on point. You can tell the developers had fun making this one.

Go-to time killer

Retro arcade vibe is spot on. I look forward to every new game and character. The story get pretty wild near the end. Events are a highlight as well. My favorite has to be Leech getting pulled into the game. It has real Ready Player One vibes.

Great game but the ads for Royal Match are very abusive. They lead you to believe you will watch an occasional ad but Royal Match won’t let you click off and it sends you to another advertisement. Then sometime it takes minutes, other ads for this game aren’t like that. But this game rocks and I love 80s stuff.

Short duration events (1 to 4 days) with leaderboards are fun, but the ad dependency to remain competitive is ridiculous, particularly since the ad service is buggy and locks up the game for hours at a clip. No, it’s not my phone… as my brother has the same issues on his phone; no, it’s not the network, because I’m on the other side of the country from him. It’s the crappy game. Do better.

Love it!

Can’t stop playing… interesting characters… Love the 80s references, nostalgic…

Boring No Real Point And No Fun.

Totally boring and repetitive. All you’re doing is putting and collecting tokens over and over and over again to basically to get to the next level to just start and do it all over AGAIN… I mean there’s really nothing fun interesting or exciting about it to want to keep playing it to get further. Is just basically add tokens and repeat. Seems to just be the basic premise of the game. If was more like Thrillville where could keep adding stuff instead of repeatedly starting over and be interactive walking around playing game etc. would make it a little more interesting and fun.

So fun!

Great game with nostalgic 80’s references (Ghostbusters, Knight Rider, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Animal House (well, that might’ve been 70s), Back to the Future, etc). Very funny story/writing. Another reviewer complained about the talking going on too long…you can just tap through it and it goes quickly. I find it very amusing and definitely part of the charm of the game. There is a limited-time challenge that takes place in another arcade, which is great: you get to play two different arcades at once.

Fun at first

Great little game with cool graphics. Keeps you busy for a few days. But gameplay gets really stagnant after episode 10. Needs some rebalancing imo. Seriously boring at this point just watching ads for days now and can’t level up. You need specific cards to unlock game and people upgrades. The problem is, the game isn’t giving me what I need to progress. At this point the free bonuses aren’t enough. Now I’m stuck waiting for a tournament to end so I can claim my rewards. And hopefully they can help me progress the main game. But I’m doubtful. Please rebalance the game so that the fun continues even in higher levels. Very tedious checking in and collecting coins that are never enough to upgrade anything.
