Description

The My Cortisol app has been created for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. It aims to help parents and guardians with the administration of hydrocortisone sodium phosphate and hydrocortisone sodium phosphate, which is a prescribed medication for those at risk of adrenal crisis. The app includes a helpful video and a pictorial guide.
On the 'My Medications' screen, you can input medication and dosage information. In emergency situations it is often difficult to remember the doses, so we would advise you to complete this area to assist in treatment.
There is also information for the receiving doctor on the 'Hospital' screen.
The information in this app should be used in conjunction with any patient information leaflet provided by the manufacturer.

Fantastic App

Used instruction video when giving my child his emergency meds just for reassurance. Simple and effective. Brilliant for getting family members to download if they are looking after your child.

Anyone that has low cortisol or spends time with anyone with low cortisol needs to have this app. It could literally save someone’s life.

This is an excellent idea with step by step video and guidelines along with the function to save ur child's medication too. This will be great for friends and family that may well look after ur child.

Really good but I'm not a child!!

This is awesome, but I'd appreciate it if it could be less child-centric... Adults have cortisol deficiencies too!

Only space for one child

Great app and have advised my family to download however I have two children with space to only write about medication for one of them. Who's do I write...?
