Though I like being able to schedule appointments through MyDukeChart and see information about my visit, this app has been telling me to e-check in after I’ve already done so. Also, I don’t like the fact that my options to schedule an appointment only give me the option of scheduling an appointment 6 months out. I see my PCP at least every 3 months for numerous health issues.
Surgery and after care physical therapy are excellent. I do not care for the checking questions on the “tablet” that have nothing to do with my physical therapy.
I came to Duke for a 2nd opinion. I chose them because my primary physician and oncologist use MyChart through Adventist Health. Unfortunately, MyChart doesn’t allow for sharing of info through the portal among my providers. Would be a helpful feature so that my whole healthcare team could communicate
Test results often are available the same day, while doctors and nurses respond quickly to questions, visit followups or medicine refills.
This is the most user friendly app.
one of the best practices I could ever chose to receive care from!! customer service is always great, appointments always start at the time my appointment says & results come back rapid and doctors and nurses always respond back very prompt. If you are looking for great OB services then I highly recommend getting in with Dr. Herfel or Dr. Staebler and if you're needing a PCP then look into getting in with Dr. Server.

I see 27 Specialist at DUKE and I absolutely love having this app where I can go in and see all of my labs all of my appointments all of my follow ups and after visit summaries from my visits. It is very nice to be able to message your doctors through this app as well.
Doctors appear thorough and concerned. But only apprehension I have is why are follow up visits scheduled so far out. Second instance where immediate appointments needed are scheduled a ludicrously for a year later, which is unacceptable and jeopardizing patients compromised health. Something needs to be instituted as opposed to placing you on a cancellation list anticipating an earlier appointment.
