Description

The Florida Board of Governor’s medical malpractice Self-Insurance Programs (SIP) were created pursuant to the authority of 1004.24, Florida Statutes. In general, SIP provides healthcare professionals with medical liability protection for claims and actions which arise from the acts or omissions of UF, FSU, UCF, FAU, and FIU health care faculty, fellows, residents, employees, and students while delivering professional healthcare services when acting within course and scope of their university employment or agency.

The MY FL SIP app is intended for use by the above referenced healthcare professionals and provides immediate access to SIP related services, support, and topics such as:

• Insurance Support Needs (certificates, verifications, etc.)
• Continuing Education
• Lecture Requests
