Great app to track lightning
Very accurate
Ok app but…
Decent app when it works. Sometimes false alarms. Navigation and different options, like sounds, are very nice. Lately, it has been false alarming but nothing to show on the map so not sure what’s up with that. Biggest annoyance is not the ads, that’s fine, but the flashing and that annoying slot machine flashing and other flashing ads. Please, stop that when we’re trying to get valuable data! Bottom line: Good but get these distractions out and put on ads that don’t flash. I shudder to think if anyone with epilepsy is using this app.
Latest update
Since the latest update this app stopped tracking lightning strikes in my area. There was just a huge one about 2 miles away and it didn’t even show up on the map nor did I get any notification. Also the ad to “clean my iPhone” which stays on the screen for a full minute with no way to close it is a scam. Used to be a great app but sadly Im deleting now.
Lots of data usage
The app seems to send and receive large amounts of data. More than Spotify and Snapchat combined for my device . What data is being transferred so much? Is this app sharing my location with third parties?
Full screen ads.. hard pass.
Directly upon opening the app I get a full screen unskippable ad, apps that do that belong in the gutter.
