My Quiet Place

Published by: Brett Buchholz

Description

Sometimes it can be hard to hear the voice of God. By going to a quiet place and practicing the spiritual disciplines of prayer, journaling and meditation, we can often sense God's presence in our lives. In My Quiet Place, you have a section for organizing prayer requests and saving them as a reminder of how God has answered those prayers over time. There is a section for doing guided Lectio Divina (Divine Reading) scripture meditations, a section for open-ended conversational journaling with God, a section of daily reminders, and a collection of wisdom you have gained over your life. By taking time each day to pray, journal and remember God's plan for your life, you will feel the presence of God active in your heart and in your life.
