My Scottish Golf

Do the developers actually play golf?! This is an appalling app that has no clue as to how golfers actually play and score a round. In the world of watches and gps devices, or even old school paper scorecards, that is how the majority of golfers track their scores. That means that this app is reduced to adding scores after a round. However, when I get home and try to create a scorecard it will not allow me to as I’m over 3km away from the course. 😂 What?!!!! And even if I could do it, I’d have to wait until the next time I play because I need my mate to sign the scorecard ON MY PHONE! Not everyone goes into the clubhouse after a round, my course doesn’t even have one. Nor do I have time to stand around the carpark copying my scores from one app to this abomination of an app. Then get my mate to also hang about to sign it. Are you mental. Allow entry of a scorecard, posted on a specific date. Even backdated a few days. It doesn’t matter as someone is attesting to the score anyway. Then have the option to either sign it directly, or send to another Scottish golf member. And ffs remove the geography limitation. There you go, fixed it for you.

Keep getting told to update the app, when I click update and I am forwarded to App Store the app is up to date. Please sort

The ability of Scottish Golf to deliver from different developers totally awful apps is only matched by their ability to have the worst website in golf. Compare their website to England Golf or USGA and you will see what an embarrassment they are

I have been paying for this app and it was working fine until 6 weeks ago. It won’t create scorecards for certain clubs in England as it can’t find the markers.

This does not allow you to add friends or had scores south of the border

Regularly tells me to update but when go to App Store there is no update.

The app looked nice and seems ok. The main use I have for it is to enter scorecards. When trying to enter a scorecard it just crashes every time I try to select tee markers.

This update icon comes up every other day but doesn’t seem to update, and I can’t log into any competitions so having to submit a card This app is an absolute shambles

Cards were so simple and user friendly, new system so complicated, all for a very few golfers travelling abroad playing in competition.

If a golf club has multiple courses or similar named layouts and Tee options you can’t see the full description in the text as it only shows a limited amount of text. You end up taking pot luck and picking one you think is right then starting again when it isn’t!
