My Sushi Story is a restaurant business simulation game that brings happiness to players. It features a wide variety of decor, appetizing Japanese dishes, and lovely characters.

The customers are upset? The staff is slacking off? The restaurant is too small? The food is bad?

You will go through the story of the restaurant in the game. It all begins when my grandma went to travel the world, leaving behind a slightly run-down sushi restaurant and a clumsy employee—Ono Ryota.

Running a sushi restaurant of my own has always been my dream, but I have no prior experience in doing so. For the sake of my dream and to fulfill my grandma's instructions, Ono and I embark on a journey of running a restaurant that is soothing, hilarious, and filled with ups and downs!

In this game, you will play as the boss of the sushi restaurant. You will create an assortment of Japanese dishes, make the daily purchasing plan, serve the customers, train the chefs and waiters, purchase items in the restaurants, and open a chain store.

The game features hundreds of facilities, thousands of dishes, a dozen employees, and dozens of characters. Everything is free to play. In the game, you can create dishes like pork katsu, sushi, ramen, tempura, wagyu beef, sashimi, udon, foie gras, desserts, grilled seafood, steak, and many others. Enjoy delicacies from all over the world!

Amazing!!!!

This is by far the best game I’ve ever played. I love sushi and I love playing this game to create a sushi restaurant. The graphics her awesome the dishes are amazing. I just have an all out blast.

Crash when solitaire play ad shows up

Game crash everytime when Solitare Play Ad shows up. I have to restart game everytime when that ad comes, because it crashes you cannot exit from the ad and the screen just froze with the ad, the only thing you can do is to restart the game. It is a waste of time.

F2P Stuck and Grind

At a certain point you are forced stuck at Chapter of Flowers 2 (restaurant rank) to grind inspiration (create food that you’ve discovered or haven’t). This part I feel is bad design because unless to you buy inspirations via store aka macrotransactions, you’ll be grinding to hopefully find new dishes (create food via inspiration) for days, not hours. If you don’t put in the grind time to farm inspiration 1:1 (1min./1 inspiration) you’ll be stuck on this rank for days depending how often you boot up the game. This severely stalls the progression of your game. Edit: one way to get dishes is merge 2 identical foods via mini-game and merging to make an ingredient (5 ingredients makes one dish). Finding inspirations can take hours to get one ingredient. You can watch (I assume) 50 ads to get 20 energy to spawn inspirations so 1000 inspirations but have to watch around 3000 seconds of ads.

I got an ad on TikTok

I get many ads on TikTok for games, or apps, but then thing about this one was not only did they have the comments turned on, but they were willing to answers pretty much everyone’s comments. They were very upfront about what the game was about, and how the ad paralleled the game play. So far I’m having a lot of fun! It reminds me of this one game I played a lot as a kid but with better graphics and more story! I can’t wait to see how it grows! :))

Good game, but wayyy too many ads

Keeps deleting my progress

Basically the title of this review. It’s rlly frustrating. Keeps taking me back to the same task that I’ve already completed. And serving tables take soooooo longgggg. Pls fix the glitch

It is fun and engaging. My problems is the ads and random restart glitches. There are always pop up ada every 5 minutes or so and every time I want to watch an ad to get a reward or gift, the entire game restarts and glitches out. Then I have to open the app again and reopen the restaurant.

2 minute long ads

This is the only game I’ve ever played that has ads 1:30 to 2 minutes long. I usually won’t complain about ads cause I’m not not to spend money to get rid of them but holy the ads get longer and more numerous as you play. Feels a little predatory to get longer and longer ads because I won’t pay to remove them. Too many other games let you actually play the game instead of an ad simulator, go play those. **Edit: I fully understand apps needing ads in order to make a profit from their games, however regarding the ads for extra items I’ve received multiple ads that were 2 minutes long so I’m just making the note that in the several other mobile games I’ve played I’ve never had ads for rewards that long. And the ads just to play the game are not much shorter than the ads for xtra rewards and truthfully feel like a punishment for not using the ads on top of not actually getting anything, there are 3-4 screens that I have to close or exit out of. And sometimes I just get completely taken out of the game and to the App Store. And given that the ads just to play happen somewhat frequently it become frustrating quite quickly. Hence my first statement, the game feels that the only way it can be enjoyable is if I pay to remove ads, which given other reviews still seems to be an ongoing issue of not working. I do not know if this is a game dev problem or an ad development problem however I do not have this problem with any other mobile game I play. Furthermore I have been playing the game which “inspired” this game My HotPot Story and don’t have nearly the same problem with ads.

Love it

This is a very good game (my opinion) I really enjoyed playing this game it’s super fun.
