Description

Ballotpedia, the encyclopedia of American politics, is here to help you prepare for federal, state, and local elections. Ballotpedia sources candidate information from each of the 50 states to provide you with an example of your primary and general election ballots. Use this sample ballot mobile app to preview your ballot and show up to the polls prepared.
Note: This is NOT an official ballot and you CANNOT vote using this app. Ballotpedia is not a government agency, but a nonprofit that collects and organizes election information from official federal and state election sources.
Ballotpedia is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization on a mission to solve the ballot information problem. There are over 500,000 elected officials in the United States, and we hope to one day provide information on them all. This app includes factual information on elections and candidates you will find on the ballot in all federal and state-level races, plus local races on the ballot in America's 100 largest cities and more across the country.
Features of this app include:
- Preview your ballot
- Enter your address and see all the elections we are covering in your districts.
- Multiple election dates
- If there are upcoming primary, special, and general elections for your address, you’ll pick the one you want to get information on.
- Local elections
- We cover every election taking place within the 100 largest cities. If you are one of the 62 million within this scope, you’ll get a look at every race on the ballot. If not, we’ll still deliver the state and federal information to you, plus give you tips on how to find more information on your own local races. Our local coverage scope continues to grow each month! Please check back in the future to see if your local elections have been added to the app.
- Dive as deep as you want
- We’re happy to give you the name of each candidate on the ballot, but that alone doesn’t offer much help when it comes time to choose which candidate you feel best represents you. The app also features candidates’ responses to questions designed to help you get to know the real person, not just their talking points. And of course, their full Ballotpedia profile is always one click away.
- Save your picks
- Researching your ballot before you head to the polls? Choose a candidate or option for each race and easily reference your list once you get in the voting booth.
- One-way information
- Your privacy is important. At Ballotpedia, we don’t need to know who you’re voting for or where you live. When you download this app there will be no need to create an account because your information will stay with you on your phone, not be sent to us.

My Vote Ballotpedia Reviews

Easy to use with EXCELLENT information

This app is great! It’s exactly what you need to research your ballot for November 3rd ahead of time, save your choices, and bring them with you (unless you’re voting by mail). Can’t wait to tell all my friends, and mention it on my political activism podcast For Your Misinformation :) if you like this app you might want to check it out!

Excellent non-partisan, comprehensive ballot info

I’ve been following Ballotpedia for a long time, and find the information provided helpful and circumspect. This app makes that information even more accessible. Very glad to have it!

Waiting for this

This is great way to look up who’s on the ballot I hope they keep improving this app as time goes by. I’ve been waiting for this for a minute.

Good ballot summary

I like the layout of the ballot summary. Interesting to see how many candidates show up in the Presidential race in TX. I do wish that the candidates in the down ballot races had filled in more info. It would be nice to have a print function as well.

Uh oh. Too much correct information

If people use this correctly, the Devil will have a much harder time tricking us into voting for Michael Pence instead of Don Jr (DJTJ) in 2024. Now I really have the smart phone! Crazy!

Looking Up My Sample Ballot

This app allows me to easily compare candidates and save my choices. I don’t live in one of the 100 largest cities so I don’t have local candidates available to me, but all state and federal races appear on my ballot.
