My app isn’t working for my second vial set I had uninstalled the app and reinstated it and on the providers side they have my next apt on there but can’t update me to be able to log again. I love this app but for some reason now I can’t log doses anymore.
I’ve been using this app now for 2 weeks and I definitely think it’s more deserving than the 3.4 stars (at the time of this review) it has on the App Store. First, I love that the nurse was able to input the schedule I chose (every other day) for shots right into the calendar. My next appointment with her is also there, in case I forgot to write it down somewhere. Because my shot schedule is already setup, it eliminates any possibility of a mistake by accidentally doing my shots on a day I’m not supposed to. Logging the shots is easy and I love the added bonus of the countdown clock at the top that tells me for the next 3 hours carry the epi-pen with me, don’t do strenuous exercise for 2 hours, and don’t fall asleep for 3 hours. That’s a good reminder for someone who doesn’t want to do the time math in their head. Lastly, I get the alert at 8:30am (which also transfers to my Apple Watch) to let me know today is the day I need shots. True, the alerts are not persistent and a banner doesn’t pop-up. I’d recommend installing another app to do persistent reminders if that’s something you need. I also like seeing a list of all the allergens I’m allergic to. Also, based on my location, it lets me know what allergens are an issue in my area today. Lastly, my nurse can see when I’ve logged my shots, so that she knows if I’m on top of it or need a reminder. She said sometimes people forget and if they start missing too many, she can email or call them to let them know. Overall, I’m very pleased.
Great app to keep me on track with shot. The only downside, it prompts me to continue the shot even after the expiration date.
I use this with my allergy doctor and it has been great at reminding me when to take my shots when I forget.
The concept of the app is great and has really had a lot of bugs worked out in the last couple of years!! Works pretty consistently overall and I like being able to access it on my phone without having to keep up with a sheet of paper. Great way to stay in top of my son’s allergy care. Biggest complaint would be even if a vial expires the app still tells you to take a dose.. I think that adding vial expiration notifications should be a priority. It would be neat to be able to contact my allergy clinic through the app too. Overall I like it pretty well and user friendly!
I have been using this app for about two years and love it
So easy to use and is a great way to stay on track with injections
This app has had its ups and downs, but is definitely on the rise now. It helps with compliance during at home allergy immunotherapy. Never forget to do shots because of the consistent reminders! Seems that all bugs and kinks have been adjusted with the newer, updated version!
