Description

MyAngu is a voucher-based digital ecosystem that’s designed to build genuine trust and confidence in financial services (particularly in Africa) by safeguarding money against debasement and developing high quality financial services for all.
Accessed from a smartphone ‘MyAngu’ allows you to:
Buy vouchers, called grains, regardless of where you are in the world
Send the grains to friends & family free of charge (wherever they are in the world)
Set up a merchant account (for shops and businesses) to sell goods for grains (efficiently using a QR code system)
Set up employees (of the merchant) with a till account
Purchase an import (to restock goods) quickly and efficiently (through Angu)
The user sees a home screen providing a view of their grain account balance (with the option to see its equivalent amount in different currencies), account history and links to the TRANSACT options, camera to pay via QR code and settings menu.
In the TRANSACT screen the user can choose to:
MAKE A PAYMENT
Allows you to send grains from your account to someone else’s account directly. Choose from previous beneficiaries or add a new one quickly. Then decide how many grains you wish to send (using the currency converter if need be). They will then be sent instantly and free of charge.

ACCEPT A PAYMENT
This is designed for shops to receive payments from customers. The user decides how much to receive (the price of the goods being purchased) and then a QR code appears. The payer then uses the camera to scan the QR code and approve the payment.

MAKE A DEPOSIT
Used to buy grains for your account. The user either sends a UK bank transfer or opens the payment card/PayPal facility

MAKE A WITHDRAWAL
Customers can withdraw to their own UK bank account by initiating a withdrawal request from the app. This converts the grains into pounds sterling.

PAY FOR AN IMPORT
If you have a legitimate import invoice to pay, it can be paid by Angu.
Anyone with a MyAngu personal account can open a Merchant account by filling in basic details, sending in formal documents and waiting for them to be approved. Once successfully opened the user’s associated merchant account can be accessed by pressing the SWITCH button on the settings menu. Furthermore, that user can add employees in a similar way to setting up a new payment beneficiary. Again, an added employee can access the merchant wallet by pressing SWITCH.
MyAngu does not charge airtime fees and is not related to the users phone network or any bank. Some transactions (deposits, withdrawals and imports) incur small fees but these are kept to an absolute minimum. MyAngu is a UK company setup by a financial and monetary expert.
