My beard is indeed not weird. I look like a child having to shave my face every morning. I had high hopes and thought the coast guard might make a turn for the better. How naïve was I to believe such a thing. #bringbackdaddyshultz #daddyshultz

👎🏻 destroyed my hopes and dreams

App seemed like a good idea to download, i get the app and see a pretty cool poll about beards, i thought to myself "hey the Coast Guard is finally being introspective about how they can improve their service I can respect this." Moments later the poll is gone. While exploring the rest of this extremely mediocre and not very useful app, I realized it is just like the rest of the the Coast Guard, made by people who still live in a decade we no longer live in, and are resistant to change to what is currently happening. A lot of potential for a great app for USCG communication and services but it's current form is not that.
