Encompass Health inpatient rehabilitation patients and their designated caregivers have the option to use the MyEncompass Health Caregiver application to follow along with a patient’s rehabilitation program. The app shows a patient’s real-time progress toward their goals and an overview of their care plan in a secure manner.
Information in the app is regularly updated by our care teams based on the individual care plan for the patient.
TRACK
Follow the patient’s stay at our hospital as they make progress toward established goals.
- Track goals established by the patient and the hospitals interdisciplinary care team, including mobility, self-care, cognition and behavior, and daily living skills such as meal preparation and medication management.
- See anticipated discharge date.
- Plan for discharge, with instructions that may include:
* Discharge diagnosis
* Instructions for care from nursing and therapy
* Follow-up appointments
* Medications
* Other pertinent information for care at home
SHARE
- Invite others to follow along as the patient progresses in their rehabilitation stay.
- Allow the patient’s legal representative to share their information with others, through granting access to the application on their behalf.
The patient and those who are granted access to the app will have access up to 14 days after discharge.

Is MyEHC Caregiver free?
Yes, MyEHC Caregiver is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MyEHC Caregiver legit?
⚠️ The MyEHC Caregiver app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
You cannot sign up as a patient proxy, you have to say “I am the patient” in order for this to work. Once the patient is signed up, you can invite other family members. It works great to see patient progress once you are in.

App unavailable most of the time
I was so excited about this app! I thought it would be a great way for my siblings and I to keep updated on our mother’s progress. Instead, it has just added to our frustration. Probably about 80% of the time, when we try to log in, it says the app is unavailable and to try again later. The times I have been able to get in, it shuts down after only a couple of minutes. I think Encompass needs to seriously rethink advertising this app until they get it fixed!

What the heck! It won’t take my phone number so I sign in for the first time. What a way to be introduced to this app!
A facade
Just spoke with an ehc case manager. Patient status updates are not being uploaded to this app. The app may not be functional—eg my “verification information” is correct and in their records but I can’t access/sign up to use the app.
The idea and advertised use of the app is excellent, but unfortunately it doesn’t actually work as promised.
Electronic medical records have been around for decades, electronic access via app/website to those records is now commonplace. Encompass should either make their system work or take down their advertisements.

The app will not load. I was very excited to be able to follow my sick family’s rehab. The company should not advertise something in its hospital that does not work.
