The myENV App is a one-stop platform in Singapore for environmental, water and food information at your fingertips.

It provides a comprehensive suite of information and services from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) which covers weather, air quality, dengue hot spots, water level, flood, water disruption, hawker centre, food hygiene, and recycling. Users can also report feedback to MSE and its agencies through this app.

• Access real-time information on Singapore’s weather and receive push-notification alerts when heavy rain occurs

• View latest PSI & hourly PM2.5 information

• Locate dengue clusters

• Search for hawker centre

• View the food alerts and recall related information

• Obtain useful food hygiene related information such as Food Establishment Hygiene
Grades and list of licensed food caterers

• Get alerted on environmental situations such as earthquake, drain water level, flash floods, lightning and haze

• View the water supply disruption information

• Convenience of providing feedback to NEA, PUB and SFA

• Save locations and personalise the relevant information you wish to see for each location

myENV app will need access to certain features on your phone for the following reasons:

This allows myENV to provide you more accurate information events, alerting you on weather and environmental conditions before your event

Allowing myENV to use location will allow the app to serve you location-specific information (e.g weather, dengue)

Location When In Use
Allowing myENV to use location will allow the app to serve you location-specific information (e.g weather, dengue)

Location Always and When In Use
This allows myENV to use your location to understand your location patterns, so we can provide you more accurate suggestions based on your locations

Photos/Media/Files
Allow you to save photographs taken with myENV app in your phone and to attach them when you file a report to NEA/PUB/SFA

Camera
Access the phone's camera if you wish to attach a photograph while making a Report to NEA/PUB/SFA

Microphone
Required to record videos

You cant see couple of hours upfront

It would be great app you it would show couple of hrs upfront so you can see if storm is coming to you or not

Shutting down on iOS 16.5

My go-to for weather tracking, but it won’t open with latest iOS 16.5 update.

Sticky Notifications

Great app but notifications keep coming back after I close them - gets annoying after a while. Would be great if they could disappear permanently after being seen and closed the first time.

Map

Please make it possible to see more of the map on screen and less of the forecast information. Also it is annoying to have the Google Map logo behind the play button as I often end up being redirected to Google Maps.

Upgrade

Having finally worked out how to see the wind and lightning readings - save a location in features and alerts - I got this working. Now quite useful again.

Vey disappointing April 2021 update.

Is this an April fools joke? Try to add a location on the banks of the Kallang river near Nicoll highway and error message stated not in Singapore! The old app was much easier to use and to navigate. Managed to add home as a location then the app just hangs. Feels more like a Beta version than a fully tested app. Not as user friendly as the old app. The only good point is regional rain which is useful when planning walks and water activities

Loving the app

NEA provides a more accurate weather forecast than Google or The Weather Channel. This app makes accessing data much easier than the browser. Initially downloaded the app just to check the weather before my runs, but I was really impressed with the UX/UI and other features available on the app, including air quality levels, dengue control, location of public toilets/smoking area in each neighbourhood, and energy auditor (estimates electricity bills and helps choose cost saving appliances). This app definitely deserves more than a 3-star average, and Singaporeans should give it a try.

Cashes in opening

I open and get a message saying there was a problem last time I opened and to send a error message I say yes crash again I say no crash again ... Why won't it work ?

Was great until the last update in Feb 2016

The last update now renders app unusable. Keeps crashing on loading. Same thing even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Please fix.
