Per Apple’s developer guidelines: Get people’s permission if you want to send them promotional or marketing notifications. Before you send these notifications to people, you must receive their explicit permission to do so. Create an alert, modal view, or other interface that describes the types of information you want to send and gives people a clear way to opt in or out. I keep getting daily marketing messages with no way to turn them off. I never opted in and the only way I can disable them is completely turning off notifications which will then cause me to miss important information about my service.
I’m a new Frontier customer. Switched from Spectrum and starting to regret it. The emailed bill has the correct info but then to review my bill I click into my account which leads me to an old account I had 4 years ago with Frontier. Not one person can get my new account number linked into my app.
Now I have to use snail mail and a stamp to pay my bill ! Welcome to the usual mess when they update my account. My condo is going with Spectrum - can’t wait to get away from the morons - ever talk to one on the phone 😂🍌
The only downside of frontier is how long it takes to fix a problem with actual hardware issues. Who charges someone for internet but tells them they will have to go days without service for it to be fixed. Another way how bug companies abuse the system because I will have to contact everyone just for a grievance to be heard and rectified. To be fair again the actual App is extremely smooth and informative with quick updates on your account.
First, Frontier’s customer data is hacked and they communicate nothing to us paying customers. Now, both the app and website constantly state that there are “service issues on our end” and to try back later. The error messages go on for days with no fix. The latest? The website logs me out after a minute with no explanation. Of course, they bill and get their payment perfectly with no hitches. The response to these reviews is to message them so they can resolve the issue with “utmost urgency”; it never goes anywhere. Maybe a real tech company could acquire Frontier. But who would want to own this disaster?
First notification I ever received from this app was marketing spam. You just... can't... stop yourselves from abusing any and all communication channels to push ads can you? It's a sickness. Get help. Ofc now notifications are off. Mission accomplished? I guess? Otherwise the app itself is like, whatever. I don't really need it for anything. No real reason for it to exist.
I log in to pay my bill and it opens then closes without letting me do anything. Continually does this loop. The app is junkware. Only reason I give it a 1 is cannnot go lower. Same for the whole company.
It started with a cable that needed to be spliced back together. It days before they sent someone out. They said internet out also. Finally a nice service man came out to fix and he said it didn’t take any time to repair. We made several calls about repair. I believe we deserve credit after almost 2 weeks without service!!!!
We have two accounts (same property - house and barn), and the app is awful if you have two accounts. It does not name them differently and you cannot see which account is which on the app.
