MyHome.ie FAQ
Is MyHome.ie free?
Yes, MyHome.ie is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MyHome.ie legit?
⚠️ The MyHome.ie app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
When it works, the app is great. Emphasis on the word ‘when’. Unfortunately it doesn’t work consistently and will just freeze for no reason. I’m amazed the glitches aren’t fixed more promptly or more permanently. I use the competitor app more than this one now.
Doesn’t give you results at all
I think they created it put it on the Appstore roof and forgot about it
Pretty brutal
Crashed a lot, signed me out but couldn’t sign back in within or outside app, filters not working correctly. Went to Daft. Significantly better.
Amateur build half of it not working
This app looks like a built by a particularly smart secondary school student. Filters prevailingly don’t work, which might be a blessing, as they follow an idea of a library catalogue rather than a way a human looks for a house.
Evidently no UX involvement. List of missing features:
Filter by mileage from point
Search sorting:
piece high-low
Newest add first
size large-small
remove sold/ subject to contract
Newbuilds
Region search
Filter by price - the existing one is not working, really
Filter by property type: House/ Flat/ Land, not a couple of dozen types of buildings
School check
Internet check - this might be a source of income, guys!
Commute check
Other features are unfathomable, e.g. why would you filter by county? Who works like that?
Carry on learning, one day you might build something useful.
Stick with Daft!!
Terrible app, keeps crashing and I loose all my saved searches & properties…
Terrible
Just a terrible app. Slow, doesn’t load and if it eventually does you see the same properties 3 times on each search. Photos struggle to load and Street View is hilarious, it may take you 200km away and show you the inside of a car dealership instead. Comfortably one of the worst apps you will ever try and use.
Useless
Tried the app as the website is constantly down. Search and notifications don’t work app no better than website. Don’t know why agencies are still using it.
A disaster
Does not show all properties for sale in a particular area, just keeps showing a selected few on repeat, interspersed with properties in other areas not requested. Absolutely useless. Used to be ok but every time they ‘update’ it, it gets worse. Vendors are paying their estate agents for their property to be included on MYHOME.ie but they are not getting any value. It is not fit for purpose.
Unstable
Decent enough UI but quite unstable. Saved searches / properties do not work
Worst app I have ever used
After the last ‘upgrade’ everything has stopped working. Whoever they are using are taking them for a ride. I hope it is a 4th year transition student as anyone else I would be seriously worried. Shame as others will now start just to use Daft
