I like it,
But very geared towards violin, which is not a bad thing except if you are using it for Trombone. The two pieces available are quite good and challenging, and the piano following my playing works well and only a little glitchy so far. Really just want more pieces, if they fleshed out each instrument’s repertoire would make this a fantastic app.
Like it but limited
I like this app. Use it for my violin and viola students and recommend they all get it when they have performances coming up. They need to add more viola repertoire. It’s been a while since they’ve added anything..
Wow!
This is absolutely insane. I don’t understand how they’re done this, and I can’t believe it’s free! Ok lol I sound like an advertisement, but really this app is crazy. It’s not like playing with a real pianist, but it’s close! The app almost always manages to follow me and the piano sounds great. Thank you to the developers!
By the way, if you’re looking for more repertoire to add :) I would greatly appreciate the Prokofiev cello sonata or any cello rep by Shostakovich! Thanks!
Love this app!
This is a incredibly useful app! As the content increases it will get even better!
Exceptional
With good quality speakers I have a grand pianist any time, any speed!!! Wonderful!!!
Need a wider range of music immediately...
I have been using this app for my last recital practice as a violin player, it follows the tempo change really well and also pretty sensitive with the melody speed. The only thing is that the amount of repertoires is not wide enough, maybe is due to the issue of funding or other reasons, but the idea of this app is excellent so I really hope that it could become popular with all the perfected functions. If would be great if the Dvorak violin concerto can be added to the list, but it is just a personal opinion overall I love the app, great job!
One year later, I am still waiting for the Dvorak Violin Concerto to be available on this app… But besides that, everything else is great!
Echo problem
When I use an external speaker, it perceives its own sound as my playing. Echo cancellation feature would be greatly appreciated
Wonderful
I highly recommend this app. What wonderful idea and great piano playing! Thank you very much.
Vocalists Excluded
There isn’t even a tab for voice. Love the idea but kind of sad that vocalists are excluded.
Worth getting the iPad Pro
I love this app. It’s great practice in sight reading and lots of fun to play pieces I have studied in the past. It turns the pages for you and really follows your interpretations and shortcomings. That is, it slows down when you need to and allows for your mistakes when necessary. Better than trying to play with a recording
