Mystery Box 4: The Journey

Poorly designed graphics. A 4 at time looks more like a y. The letters and numbers don’t always match what they are.

The game is so interesting the hints are really nice. I enjoyed this game so much. Paying $4.99 was not bad at all. I will be able to play it again in the future. Of course I’m playing it a second time after the first.

Bought the “Premium pack” for all four games thinking less money and easier to move through games. WRONG. Finished first set and when I got to the second set could only play first two boxes then wants me to pay $4.99 to keep playing! Tried to “Restore Purchase” but just has the screen blink on and off. On a good note, I contacted support and they promptly replied, twice, but after showing them the problem they said it was an Apple Store problem (within the app??). Said if they (Apple) charged me they would refund on PayPal. Ok but what happens on the third set, then the fourth…. What a pain. Repeat and request refund wait and track. Repeat. What a pain. The game is ok and nice time waster. Nothing too deep. I want to keep playing and would not give 1 star except for the restore purchase problem. Another issue is that the game does not remember your progress (except completed ones). If you start a box and are part way through and stop you need to start all over. Also does not even translate that over to a different device, start all over for all. Used to be games connected through Apple and always remember but not here. They said the last two games of the series do have a “memory” of progress but not the first two. Seems like they would fix that. Not sure what I am going to do for this second set just don’t want to pay and wait for a “ refund”. Especially to have to repeat that for two more. Frustrated.

I enjoyed all the levels. However, once I finished all of them I wanted to back and look for the moon pieces. I couldn’t get any completed levels to load. I guess it’s a one time thing. I guess I will have to reset. Bummer.

Was great until the “puzzle” of trying to be fast enough to get past 2 silver balls. Hate those wastes too much time and get too frustrated so game not worth the effort

Some of the hints make no sense. Even if you do the sequence properly as shown on the online walkthrough, some of the doors don’t open. The puzzles for the most part are enjoyable, however. Too bad there aren’t e tea hints for getting stuck.

Great music and graphics, gameplay very good.

The free puzzles were decent and I liked the graphics so I purchased. The puzzles themselves are very easy, but too often the difficult part is trying to guess what the dev wants you to do and it's usually something very obtuse and illogical.

Fun and great graphics. Reminds me of Myst.
