Description

The myTechnician® Mobile Application is one of the best tools that a professional oil heat technician can have at a customer job site by identifying problems, reducing job time, and eliminating call backs.
The app provides the technician with a wireless Bluetooth connection to a Beckett® burner fitted with the latest generation of advanced oil primary controls, the new GeniSys® 7565 120V Oil Burner Advanced Primary Control. With a local connection to the technician’s smart device, the app enables the technician to quickly program burner settings, view control history, diagnose current faults, and evaluate component trends.
For the legacy GeniSys® 7505 120V Oil Burner Control, the BeckettLink® Pro Contractor Tool 7652 will provide the technician with the same ease of programming and diagnostics.

don't click on the update!!

once you do the app wants you to "confirm" that you are a licensed oil tank installer, that you know all the state regulations, that you've read the entire instruction manual etc.. and there's no way to deny/ say "no"... you're stuck with no choice but to delete and reinstall- which had to be done by the oil company's technician.

1) LOGS OFF DURING A COMBUSTION TEST 2) SAYS THE PASSWORD IS WRONG, WHEN ITS NOT. 3) MAKES YOU WAIT 30m “TO GET AN EMAIL”. 4) NEVER RECEIVE EMAIL 5) ALL FOR AN OHMS READING WHILE MOST HAVE IT ON A SCREEN NOWADAYS OR A FLASH CODE [UPDATE: WENT THROUGH EMAILS AND APPARENTLY THEY DELETED EVERYONES ACCOUNT AND YOU NEED TO CREATE ANOTHER ONE] THE NEED FOR A USER NAME AND PASSWORD TO SIMPLY CHANGE PRE/POST-PURGE & CHECK OHMS 🤔 I MISS CIRCA PRE-2019

Horrible service

They charge me nearly $200 for a smart device to monitor my oil tanks. Less than a year later they just discontinue it and leave me with a paperweight. They just update the app with a notice that it’s being discontinued. Would never recommend buying Beckett smart devices.

App has been perfect with Genisys 7565, a leap forward in primary controls

Could be better

Easy to install. It knows the tank size and shape, so it should be able to estimate gallons. Very simple calculus to get gallons right. Graphs become useless. Competitor product does gallons estimate, gallons per day, etc.

User friendly

The App is self explanatory, so there is no need to check the hard copy manual

Awesome app! Exactly what’s needed.
