30” time master

Ken Guice on

United States

Mowed three times and blade does not keep turning. It makes a lot of noise and blade cuts intermittently. I’ve always owned Toro so I decided to spend $1600 and buy a bigger walk behind. This mower just makes noise for all the neighbors to here. It sounds like a seal. Toro customer service says to load up and drive 40 miles to another town and maybe it’s warranty after three mowings. Toro’s customer service is terrible and doesn’t care about customer loyalty. I know some Lowe’s Executives and going to the local TV networks about Toro and their poor customer care and defective products.

Piece of junk

Never works. Does not provide hrs despite successful sync. Always loses login

Not great

Mng311 on

Very buggy, can take along time to link up with puc.No way to edit or remove notes on maintenance

Not a fan of the app

Daytona3223 on

I refuse to purchase the Toro Puc with all of the horrible reviews it has so manually adding in mowing time is my only other option to keep track …and using the app is horrible. It’s not a smooth easy process trying to simply add mowing time

Puc connection

I like the app it tracks about everything. What is not that good is connecting the puc. You need to try and fail, 2 try will wake it up and connect.

I want this to work

corpsemonger on

First off, takes 2+ minutes to refresh the home page every time I open the app before I can do anything. I love the idea of the PUC enabling efficient notifications and reminders for scheduled maintenance. The notification flags cannot be cleared or removed, they only keep increasing. I now have 5 recommended notifications maintenance which I completed 13 months ago. Each maintenance record can only include one activity, so if you inspect the blades, sharpen blades, clean the deck and adjust the drive the only way to document all of those activities (all standard options in the drop down) are to create four separate service entries, logging the date each time. If I own this as long as my last mower, the service record will be 100 pages in this format and extremely difficult to navigate and actually use. I love databases, this interface is extremely clunky.

Puc sync errors

steelejima on

I always have problems syncing my puc to MyToro. It never syncs without multiple tries. It connects, starts syncing, and then displays sync error messages. I’ve tried installing new batteries, restarting my phone and the MyToro program without success. Not a very reliable program.

What happened?

Measure, cut, force on

I had 2 PUC’s on 2 mowers until a fire destroyed everything last year. I just purchased my new mower and PUC, linked it together with the app & assigned it to my new mower. Mowed my 2 acres then “synced” the PUC with the app and lo & behold NO ANIMATED GRAPHS! They were there on my previous mowers but not now. Bought another one thinking the one I had was bad. Nope! No animated graphs on the 2nd one either. THOSE ANIMATED GRAPHS ARE THE WHOLE PURPOSE FOR THE PUC & APP!! Where are they??

GREAT mower and app

Mower has been excellent and app works well. PUC works sporadically though

Good to know information

I’ve used our mower about 6 times and I’ve had to input use at least once. Other than that seems to pick up and sync.
