I’ve used this app for ages, and it’s always been fine: does what it’s supposed to with no fuss. Then the developers decide to start slapping an ad over the whole screen as soon as you open it. Imagine, you’re running for a train, you need to quickly check if you’re going to make it, you open the app, and… splat!!, an ad makes the app unusable for 20 seconds, just at the crucial time. I understand the need for ads on free apps, but not this way. Uninstalling.
Fine
Used this app before journey, decided not to go because of grandsons Autism so didn’t get tickets from machine used refund option from the email and they fined me more than half the cost of ticket complained now all paths are closed DO NOT USE
Waste of app
Bought the old app now the new one needs me to pay again. Cool if you want to update it but why do I have to pay again.
Classic case of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Loved the old my trains pro app. This one is isn’t nearly as good. Looks awful and difficult to navigate.
Wish I could give ZERO stars
What has happened to the Pro version I bought. This new version is dreadful and my purchase cannot be restored. Did have faith in this company after initially starting out with the tube app.... Very poor service.
Crap system
I am not impressed with the App, half the time it doesn’t work and always it’s when you are in a hurry or out and about. The old ‘my trains pro’ was great so I don’t know what they have done to it since. It either crashes or says there are no trains.
Why should you have to pay again
I had the MyTrains pro app which no longer works, but why should I have to pay again for what is effectively an update to the existing app
Restore purchases.
I purchased the pro version of this app some time ago now and this new app will NOT restore purchases and wants me to pay again. Criminal behaviour by the app developers. I have recently been in contact with customer support who have been extremely helpful and after emailing them a copy of my Apple receipt they sent me a code to restore purchases and now all adverts have been removed from the new app on my phone.
Railcard option a failure
Tried to buy one ticket using my Network railcard but the app insists I must buy exactly three adult tickets to make it work.
Totally useless so deleted
