If only the government could get an app right

georgiecomesalot on

Please look at the features on the PTV app for example (Victorian public transport app). You can add your card, you can top up your card, you can see your balance when you open the app. Why does translink not have these features. What are the app developers doing

More cumbersome than the web site

Outbreak Monkey on

Poorly conceived, poorly executed. Even little things like planning a route - you find a bus you like, clicking on it shows the route map - want a timetable for that? Nope, gotta type that into a different search field. Just use the website.

Never received push notifications

Versus XIII on

You never receive push notifications when your service is cancelled. What is the point of having by them if you never get them? Also when manually checking for your service in the journey planner it doesn’t say that the service is cancelled until you view the details of the journey. If it’s cancelled it should show in the summary view of the journey planner!! Or just don’t show it at all! The fact that the journey planner will show a cancelled service but push notifications for cancellations don’t work yet in 2024 is a travesty; the data is clearly there! Get your act together!!

Useless

StephenlNeasham on

Are you guys serious? Who wrote this? There is no option for when you want to arrive at a certain place or time. For instance my sons school bus owned by the school leaves sand gate station 745 am so why can’t I plan a trip to arrive at 0730am approx. you have to put your departure time in and keep trying working backwards till it works. Good one about as reliable as QR.

Lose yourself! And time!

CavstarBeobi on

If you’re after an public transport app, that is inconsistent, constantly changes routes and sends you on a wild goose chase. This is it! It has really taught me the art of getting back to using the work photocopier and the old highlighter to map my routes and work out train and bus times. However if you are really trying to test if your recent meditation app has given you the zen to not strike out with rage - use the app! I have arrived to meetings, a job interview and social Events red faced, sweating and running down streets like you stole an apple from a market stall in medieval times. Look no further The app has consistently provided me with incorrect information- that induces stress sweating and forces you to take matters into your own hands running wildly to that important meeting beading! Thanks Brisbane city council - or what ever cranky toddler is the brain child of the app. The good news is - if this is AI at its best - we humans are safe for a bit longer.

Late timing

Adiitya moun on

Every time buses are late. I am watching from 1 year buses never come on time.

Worst app ever!!

moataz aly on

Timings are all wrong, trains and buses come out of no where. Cannot live track your journey or even start a journey on the app. All you can do is see the route which is usually incorrect specially when you need to change between buses and trains, why? Cause there is no live tracking. This app needs to be replaced!!!

Keeps on giving error messages… absolutely useless!

No point in the app

AaaAAAddgghbfgjFHXseh on

I found that majority of the time when I’m trying to track a bus it doesn’t show up, and it’s annoying because isn’t that one of the main points of having the app? It’s great when it works but it’s annoying when it doesn’t.

Useless

Here’s a challenge: find a train timetable. Good luck. I want timetable for train from Landsborough to Brisbane. I search. I get a result showing how far to walk to Ipswich station. I cannot believe it. The website is just as useless.
