nabtrade FAQ
Is nabtrade free?
Yes, nabtrade is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is nabtrade legit?
🤔 The nabtrade app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
As with the majority of trading platforms the UI is terrible for devices and discourages me from using the app. The entire platform needs to be ripped apart and rebuilt by some one who understands how information should be structured and delivered on a phone.
Needs improvement in displaying relevant figures
App is good as it’s fluid and UI is lucid. But it fails displaying relevant figures. The most important being that based on my purchases what’s my current gain / loss per share. The Web version displays it spot on but the app version displays only gain/ loss for the market value of that share and not my personal gain / loss based on price it was purchased. I may be too early to comment but this App needs improvement in displaying relevant figures which can help trader take instant decisions whether to buy / sell.
Nab trade
Good but can be improved - get automatically signed out too quickly and doesn’t show what price stocks are matching at before open and at the close.
Locked out
I have been using Nabtrade for many years and it has been a convenient platform to research and trade shares. What really annoys me is that the newest update is not backward compatible and I cannot download it as my iPad and IOS is apparently too old. I cannot fathom why I should be forced to mothball a perfectly working iPad and buy a new one in order to trade with Nabtrade. Do they have shares in the Apple Company?
Awful App
The app keeps crashing. There are hours you can’t log in. Adding to the watch list is so hard. The user experience needs a major improvement.
Counterintuitive to use
There may be codes or regulations that need to be followed, but this platform is difficult to use. Also it would be great to see date of purchase and purchase price.
Great with some room for improvement
Great app, allows a vast range of functionality including checking stock prices and even buying and selling when on the go. It has changed my life - I use downtime waiting for the bus or train to manage my money instead of budgeting extra time at the PC at home for this!
Some things to improve:
1. When looking at the Trade or Quote tab, and searching, the clicking on a result, then clicking the back arrow, one is back in an empty search field. It would be better if one gets back to the previous search results instead of having to enter the search term again.
2. When transacting, and a two factor code is sent via SMS, the iPhone normally allows to straight away extract and copy the code sent by SMS into the field where it belongs, with one tap. The app however circumvents this and one has to switch to the SMS received, copy and past or memorise and type the code. This is a nuisance.

Clunky
Still needs some work
Enhancements
It would be really good if you could see the open estimate and live stream changes as it happens in the app as you can on the desktop version
