NAIPS FAQ
Is NAIPS free?
NAIPS is not free (it costs 8.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is NAIPS legit?
🤔 The NAIPS app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Bug? I noticed that when I submit a flight notification on the web version using Northing/Eastings for waypoints which include 0’s - when I open in the App version for an amendment the 0’s have been removed from my entries so I get an error message? Also, if I have ‘saved’ a draft Flight Notification on the web version, I can’t access/retrieve the saved file on the App?
Was great at release
A great simple app, however some additional features to keep it current would help, specifically a dark mode /system setting like OzRunways.
Basic functions
In a world where we can use two fingers to zoom in to see and read information in 99% of applications, it continuously disappoints me that all the weather and NOTAM data NAIPS provides we can not zoom in to read easier.
Nearest Location
Using the nearest locations seems to be way off the last few weeks?
Soooo hard to use !
Constant error messages - just gave up
Access Violation
Occasionally getting the above message when trying to get TAFs and NOTAMs.
All other charts updating.
SPIFB updates don’t work
Tis broken
Unusable if dark mode is enabled
Latest version can’t be used with dark mode text is white on white background and black on black background. Navigation buttons are invisible.
Very helpful app has a couple of draw backs
The app is great because you can save the NOTAMS and the weather and view them offline but I was just wondering if you guys are going to add GAFS to the area briefing because it is very annoying having to go to the website to get the GAFS. But on a while it is a good easy to use app.
updating Saved docs
Version. 4.5.1
Hi, great app, however,
a. users cannot update a Saved document, once you have changed your password,
b. you cannot view the background picture - no home page button, and
c. the initial startup photo is only briefing viewed, for one second.
d. 21/10/2019 cannot Cancel/Amend Sartime. Error quote
Sartime must be forward of EOBT and current time.
ETD is more than 5 days in the future.
Unquote
Sartime was submitted today, and attempted to cancel today. Both iphone and ipad.
