Naka AdBlocker VPN

As per the title. Works well enough on the Adblock side. Will block out the entire ad for most pages but not hide the container element, which is perfectly fine but means there will be scrolling. But at scale, it can get problematic. There's no way to whitelist websites/apps and some sites are rendered incorrectly because the content is perceived as advertising.

Edit: it was kind of incredible that after posting this review, it suddenly started working again! I continued using Naka for awhile but I would say it is inconsistently effective. I’m not sure if ads are getting better at getting past or Naka’s just mediocre at blocking. Don’t get me wrong, turning off Naka showed me that even when I’m getting a lot of ads, it’s still so much less than no protection. I’m going to try another blocker but I might end up coming back to Naka. We’ll see. I’ve been using Naka for awhile and suddenly it stopped working. To make matters worse, there is not an identifiable way to report bugs or issues. Sad that I’ll have to find a new vpn to use

Annoying

It is great if you are just looking to block ads and see less ads but nothing else you can do with it unless you pay for it but at that point download something better and cheaper

I’ve been using this app for 3 years but recently it hasn’t been blocking any ads. The VPN and adblocker worked really well and was actually free. It hasn’t been updated in a year so that may be the issue.

Naka VPN is the best free VPN out there! I have been searching endlessly for a free VPN that works until I stumbled upon this app! I cannot stress how amazing this app is I recommend this app to anyone who is looking for a free VPN. I use Naka VPN as an ad blocker and it has not failed me yet!
