南無阿彌陀佛（梵文：Namo Amitābhāya），「南無」是指「歸命」的意思，即「歸依阿彌陀佛」，意指「歸命無量壽覺」，又作六字名號。為淨土宗佛號。
廬山慧遠稱念該六字名號，願生西方淨土，最初稱名是便於觀想，為專註思惟。後曇鸞、道綽至善導等開始提倡為念佛往生，而主張他力念佛。
