Naples 3x3

Apologue AR Film

Description

The film, winner of the Campania Region Cinema Competition, and co-produced with the Madre Museum in Naples, is a portrait dedicated to the Neapolitan writer Fabrizia Ramondino conceived and directed by Matilde De Feo. The film, conceived to be seen on devices, is a dreamlike animated score that is vaguely inspired by the first animated films of the German avant-garde (Ruttman and Fischinger), build around an original and vibrant interview with Mario Martone. Its main concept resides in the question like “how a film can be hidden in space and become a surface?”. Four colored markers constitute the four conceptual nuclei of the film, they can be displayed anywhere on the web, in big prints inside an immersive setting, inside a book. The original music is composed by  Ferruccio Spinetti. The app have been developed by ISTI-CNR (Pisa).
