Description

Welcome to the International Space Station! As the newest member of the ISS crew, it’s your task to familiarize yourself with the station, and help out with the plant growth experiment.
Trying to move in zero-g will be different than what you are used to on Earth! Spend some time flying and flipping around the station without gravity to assist you.
Once you’ve become comfortable moving in zero-g, find astronaut Naomi and assist her in cutting-edge research: how microgravity affects plant growth in space. What kind of light do they need? How do you water plants without gravity? Why is growing food important in space?
Collect mission patches for completing tasks and for making discoveries. Can you grow enough plants to create a salad for the astronauts to eat? Launch time!
The app also contains information on plant growth experiments, for use in the classroom and at home.

What the heck

Naomi is a creature of nightmares. I had to play this app for my biology class and I got sick from the way the screen moves so slow and shaky. The way you maneuver around is painfully slug-like, and realistic or not, made this whole experience so monotonous that I was ready to quit about thirty seconds in. The “tasks” aren’t clear. It took me forever to figure out what the storage bags looked like. Also, the voices are annoying. Mission control sounds like Morgan Freeman and Siri’s illegitimate son.

My 7-year old loved this and I thought it was cool enough to spend some time exploring the station without him!

this is the first app ive given 5 stars. Its the best space app available why cant all the apps be like this, and do what they say they are going to. this is a blast. I only wish it showed more areas of the ISS.

Fantastic!

I ran across the app while searching for something else, and decided to give it a try. My daughter loved this, and on top of that she learned about the international space station and plant science!

Excellent

A very good game, But please extend it. Aa more missions. I have finished the whole game and it's got boring.

Nauseating.

I just couldn't make it through the ship. The controls are far too nauseating. I get that you're in space, but keeping your view mostly centered would have been better than constantly spinning around.
