No paintings by Van Eyck!? He’s credited for practically inventing oil painting. Go to the National Gallery website and add it to your home screen. You can download more pictures from it than this app.

Some have complained that many of these art apps don’t give any or enough info about the artist or the work. That’s what google is for,isn’t it? For the minimal amount of money that most of them cost, they’re well worth it.

I find myself enjoying these great works more often since they are readily available. Thank You

I won't rehash what others have said. Great to look at the art, but not useful for learning. The only info about the paintings is size, type, painter, and title. Would be sooooo much better if the story of the painting were included.

For real they look really good.

Really like this app. For those who like museums this is the place to go.

Excellent source for National Gallery paintings, they can be use for studying for history.
