Important things to know
• There is a maximum of 5 payments totalling £750 per day. You must be 16+
• Get Cash – withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at our branded ATMs. You must have at least £10 available in your account and an active debit card (locked or unlocked)
• Touch ID, Face ID and Optic ID are only available on selected devices
• Not all features are available on the Vision Pro device
• Credit score available once opted in through the app, to customers over 18, with a UK address and is provided by TransUnion
• Spending – you must be aged 16+. Only available for Personal and Premium Current accounts
• You can freeze and unfreeze MasterCard credit cards and debit cards
• You can create one Travel Plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days which include up to 7 countries. Each country needs to be registered separately. The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only, attached to accounts that are managed via mobile banking and only in your name. Joint account holders should register separately
• Managing your receipts is available to Business Banking and Premier customers only
• Our app is available to customers aged 11+ with compatible iOS and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries

• To find your nearest cash machine or branch, you’ll need to let the app find your location
• To ‘Pay your contacts’, the app will need access to your contacts list
Please note, the app contains images when logging in that may cause a reaction in individuals who are photosensitive. You can switch these off for your device by visiting the settings menu and the accessibility menu where you will be able to find motion and visual control settings (note this is not within our app but on your device’s settings itself). To download the latest app version, you should have an iOS device with OS – 15 and above.

International payment hangs at confirmation and limits not displayed

App gets stuck in confirmation screen after making an international payment, unable to click done button to progress on iOS. No warning messages on international limits when making a payment, was a tiring process to work out amount by trial and error as the faq did not even address this or directs you to where the relevant limits are displayed. Fix your apps peeps, not acceptable

Too many connection errors

While on good quality wifi, I find the app won’t connect even when there isn’t an outage. I probably get an issue one in three times. Add to that, that banking with NatWest has been a hateful experience so far. I won’t detail everything that has happened but suffice to say, I’ve been given the runaround from their chat people to email to the branch to a phone number that NatWest doesn’t use, another phone number that couldn’t help, back to the branch. All to add a second person to my account.

Using this from Australia is very easy. Card readers and cards sent over without any drama. Invaluable when you have UK income and want to chose when to exchange depending on the rate.

Problems with facial recognition

The app is fine but the new facial recognition technology is highly unreliable. At best it takes many attempts to get it to recognise me and at worst it fails leaving no way to complete the transaction

Latest version crashes on iPhone

Scenario: app asks me for passcode to login. At the same time ( if relevant or not ) I need to authorise a transaction made on a 3rd party website. After I enter the passcode....the app takes a second or so but crashes every time. I am running latest version of iOS on iPhone 12 Pro

I only recently installed this App. It is easy to use and so convenient. You have all your banking activity at your fingertips and are always in control.

App no longer supports overseas users

Had to update and now I never receive the activation code despite entering all other details correctly. Called customer services and they couldn’t help. Nice downgrade NatWest.
