If you don’t live in Korea and you don’t have a Korean phone number, it seems impossible to create a profile and that is needed to save places

This was an excellent app gave various routes around the whole of Korea - bus timings transfers and trains. We did a lot of travelling around and it was invaluable. Google maps is dysfunctional. Only comment was the walking times were slightly excessive but that depends on your speed. Bus times were bang on.

1. If you keep the app open but lock your phone, it resets so you have to put in your search again 2. There’s no translation functionality at all after the initial search 3. Doesn’t seem to tell you which exit is best from a subway station, unlike Google Maps I only used this in Seoul because there’s no other walking directions option. This app is terrible for tourists and compared to Google Maps it is barely usable.

Apple Map & Google Maps don’t work properly here in Korea, they are especially useless for walking or taxis. Naver has been excellent for transport navigation in particular and is mostly English friendly, translating several places into Korean. It falls down a bit for finding good places for food & drink vs Google Maps, but does have lots of pictures once you find places you want to check out. Overall very good app/start, a few integrations (like easy way to book taxis) and better discovery for attractions, restaurants & cafe’s would make it 5*

영국 거주 한국인인데요~ 네이버 리뷰가 안보이는 현상이 있습니다. 아예 리뷰 자체가 안보입니다. 예전엔 업데이트하면 됬는데 이제는 아이폰 업데이트를 해도 그냥 안보이네요. 버그 좀 고쳐주십시오.

버스정보 확인 x버튼 종료 후에도 맵에 노선 정보가 남아있어 앱 사용시에 헷갈립니다

It keeps crashing when I try to save a location

Great app works perfectly especially for a non korean speaker.

I’ve found this app to be really great . Had some difficulty creating an account and logging into the app through the main naver app. But maybe I’m just rubbish at things like that ? Very grateful for such a easy to use and easy to look at app. Much better than any other option I’ve tried.

Recent language additions are good but they didn’t add the option to change language in settings, which is basic stuff (coming from a dev). Also the design changes make it look more like google maps, more streamlined and lighter in color tone. This is a map; should prioritize practicality not aesthetic design. I prefer the old contrasting colors so each item/road in the map stood out.
