Nest Egg Reviews

Good but needs PDF export option

Good app but needs PDF export feature to have a good usable backup.

A pain to use

This was not entirely intuitive to use as it should be. I tried scanning with a barcode, but could not figure out how to do it. I tried adding a seller, but the system would not accept it.

This app has helped me clear clutter

Sage Groomer on

I received several generations worth of random household items, owned many pets, worked professionally with pets, I’ve moved and was paying for costly storage unit. Downsizing was necessary, I couldn’t mentally map where all my items were located. Documenting the important items and their location has let off a lot of stress. Getting items untangled allowed huge steps forward. Letting go of objects is much easier when you realize that you have multiple of it. I was able to drop from a 5x15 storage unit to 5x8 unit saving $180 per month!!! This is a great app for people overwhelmed with clutter, moving or who just received an estate. The add ons are worth it. I still have work ahead, but this app has improved my productivity and emotional wellbeing.

Great app to track collections of all sorts

Love this app to track all my craft supplies! It’s easy to use and can be adapted to what you need to keep track of. I recommend the app to anyone looking to track their collections.

Developers are Considerate

Used to categorize my home inventory. My favorite part of this app is how responsive the developers are to any inquiries I have. They are also continually looking for any suggestions to improve the app. Dedication to the user and their experience is really important to me.

Too many app advertisements & Common Sense

Jlovely303 on

There extremely too many app upgrades to do simple things like export to CSV spreadsheet or to have tags those all come with $1.99 upgrade. I first downloaded the live version, and then I took the plunge and purchased the full version. I cannot say I am happy because this is not a full functioning inventory system to catalog an entire house for an estate. After creating a list of items. A packet of snake has now been consumed. There is no option to mark as consumed or ensure the count on the item now reflects the correct quantity. When it comes to food I’m not lending food to myself. And, in this example the food is not borrowed. Where is the option to mark an item used or consumed so the inventory count is reduced and accurate.

Not user friendly - no directions

Chicky345 on

It opens directly into the app with no tutorial or info. I got the app gimping to keep track of holiday decorations as I put them away for the year but immediately it was a mess. The version I downloaded said it was free and included most of the features I wanted which was basically just to take a picture of the item and note which box I put it in. Took one picture and was told I’d have to upgrade. I decided it was worth the $5 to just get the full app. That didn’t really provide much leeway or accessibility in the app. If your super serious about inventorying pantry or other items around the house it’s worth it but I just want to keep track of the decorations and I feel like it’s more headache than it’s worth.

So so…not worth the money

Grthxg on

Really bad. It’s picking up less than half of the books and CDs I’m scanning. It was doing all right during the preview. Maybe it’s better suited for other things, but it does have those categories included in the app…??

Terrible app

Inobody12345 on

Barcode scanner is terrible. Useless if you can’t scan collectible bar codes and lookup. Not working on Swarovski boxes or many of my dvds. Very frustrating as the old version worked better, plus now you charge extra to export the data!

Decent

Ihrtmusic on

United States

This makes it easy to keep my house organized. I give it 3 stars bc you can’t go further without making a purchase for the extended version. It is fine but then once I did make the purchase..I had to start ALL over again. It doesn’t save what you already entered.
