Netzero for Tesla

This app is the only thing about Tesla service that works. Their app is all about sales. In reality, there is no service. At best there is the promise to be in contact in 10 days. Not even the courtesy of a recording of crickets. Got a message Re how to track the request. Total dead end. But, they keep the auto pay functioning just fine.

Wife told me about the app so I gave it a try. The only thing I see so far is the need to separate the home from the car.

The app is faster to provide overall information/data than the Tesla App and provides all basic information on the main screen. For me the best things are the ability to easily see and monitor battery degradation and the automation ability. One ‘opportunity for improvement’: Update to permit the Powerwall automation to include date settings, for example, winter vs summer automation, and date ranges for when the automation is activated (rather than just day settings).

I also have solar edge, it works great. This app shows I’m logged in but nothing but a blank screen

This app is way better than the Tesla app. I am looking forward to playing with scheduling the power wall. I thought I saw an integration with Emporia Vue but can’t seem to find it in the app.

It would be awesome if the app could keep stats for solar production, usage, import/export to the grid for different time of use periods.

I’ve noticed for the 12 months, that your app shows one of my two PW2’s having a 3% degradation, being that it’s 2 years older than the newest one. Since you latest app update, it shows that there’s no degradation. Come on, what’s with the conflicting info ??

The app itself is great for viewing usage and Powerwall diagnostic information. What sets the app apart are the Automations. I have it set my reserve to 90% when charging my Tesla, and then back to 10% when charging is complete to ensure I only charge from the grid. I also have an automation set to dump energy to the grid starting at peak so I have full control over when that happens and when it stops. Automations are absolutely a game changer.
