Funktioniert sehr gut

I love the idea. Keep your notes where they are. Just add a hashtag and/or some formatting to existing notes and you get flashcards. It works. (Unless you are trying to use the app on multiple devices, like an ipad and an iphone. There is no way to predict which cards will be shown when.) My main issues with the app are design and usability. The metaphors don't make sense. The app is not accessible and looks bad. I find the shape shifting bubble on the Home screen so ugly, that I cannot open the app without my stomach revolting. It's a bizarre visual for such an app. Why not choose a metaphor, that is closer to the concept of the app? It's about cards and repetition and progress. The Decks screen doesn't show decks but is plastered with color-coded hashtags. Some are light green, some are dark green, some are light red, some are dark red, some are purple. Some hashtags are relevant for reviewing cards in Neuracache, others or not. I find this approach unusable. I want decks that look like decks and behave like decks. At least stop calling the screen "Decks", if you are not using the concept of decks. Neuracache is not usable enough to be useful.
Innovative, well designed and very useful for memory tasks
The flashcard app NeuroCache isn't yet a very mature product, but it shows promise. The develvoper made a smart choice. The only way to create new cards is to import them from other apps. It is not possible to create or edit flashcards in the app. Instead of wasting time on building yet another bloated editor, the developer focuses on smooth import from and seamless synching with editors. It works! Markdown support is the feature that got me hooked. All my digital notes are written in Markdown. I use tools like Obsidian and iA Writer to create Markdown files. It's easy to make existing content available for NeuraCache. Just adjust the format and add some tags, then tell NeuroCache to sync with the iCloud folders that contain those properly formatted Markdown files. That's it. NeuraCache's core features work well enough for the app to be useful. If fhe developer continues on this path, NeuraCache will soon become a must-have app for anybody who wants to repeat flashcards and other content regularly with minimal effort for content creation. In future versions I hope for more sophisticated management of decks. It must be easier to switch between different learning tasks. I'd like to be able to save various combinations of filters as "decks". For example one deck for daily repetition of Spanish vocabulary and another deck for daily repetition of specialist knowledge in some area of expertise. I also hope for some refiniments of the visual design.
Such a basic feature should be available at that price. | Where | Are | |————|-——| | Markdown | Tables | | :-( | ?|
Ok, but sadly all useful features are premium which is overpriced
i would love a proper visualization on macOs
Tolles App zum Lernen der neuen Wörter
How did no big company think of this? How have they not bought and incorporated this already?! Props to this amazing man 👏 Thank you and please keep this up and any other great ideas coming!! :)
