I want to echo what others have said about the bad business practices of this company. I thought I was done with them a year ago but nope they are back at it. Thankfully my bank tagged it as fraud and declined the charge. I signed up when feeling vulnerable and wanting all the mental health help I could get. Every other app and online website accounts that have actually been useful (the content on this app is not unique) have very easy ways to cancel within the site or app. If you are reading this, do not give them your $ info.

Be warned- they set this up on purpose to be misleading. I bought a one month experience, but then a year later it was flipped into an annual membership and I was charged without warning. When I wrote to point this out and ask for a refund, I was given a copy of the terms and conditions and told too bad. There’s no way to cancel online. For a company that claims to care about mental health, this is very sketchy behavior. It’s also not industry standard. Bad form Neuro. Maybe take more of your own advice.

I decided to give them a try, and it took 10 days to get the app to work… so much wasted time! I don’t find the emails helpful at all and the app just gives you a bunch of things to do without addressing the issue I joined it for – procrastination. Plus, every time I wrote to cancel the subscription, I received a super short casual response that didn’t acknowledge my request. I’ll be really angry if they charge me again next month.

Even though a subscription unlocks a cascade of specialized meditation and mindfulness sessions, the Neuromodus app is fully functional without that. I’ve been enjoying the free sessions for about a year now, and decided to subscribe because I’m interested in longer and more involved meditation series. The programming here is well thought out and I like that there’s an option to choose a more traditionally feminine or masculine voice range for your guide/instructor. People respond differently, particularly if they’ve had trauma in their lives, and that Neuromodus recognizes this is refreshing. 10/10 would recommend for beginning and intermediate practitioners. Can’t speak for advanced folks because that’s not my level.

Don’t sign up. No way to manage your account or cancel. No way to login. Definitely a scam.

They keep charging me even though I only signed up for 1 month. The app is only a white screen and I have no login to cancel my subscription. I’ve emailed several times with no avail. Shame on you for scamming people who are trying to cope with burn out and trauma!

Signed up and never got login information. Never prompted to download the app. All they do is send articles by email and ask you to make charts. When canceling I found it didn’t have a login on the website. I had to setup an account from a link they sent to be able to cancel.

False advertising, kind of a scam. This business is running an email subscription service, not a mobile app. They upsell pdfs that have errors or look to be made haphazardly from Pinterest or Canva.
