Literally impossible to do any real progression without spending lots of money. 

No where near enough energy to train and play 

If you use energy to build a relationship it will give you a dilemma situation where you lose all the points you just wasted energy on building

This game is very unfair and makes it very hard on purpose. For example, when I hit the ball with the bat and my character automatically runs, they run as slow as f and gets out 99% of the time. Meanwhile everyone else runs 10 times faster than me! Secondly, whenever it says I can make it to another base and it is very easy, it just gets me out no matter what. However when it says risky, I can always make it very easily. This makes no sense! Also if I win a game and I do well, it stupidly makes the relationship lower and it gets very annoying. The NRG drink is too expensive and you only get 1! Do not download this game as you will soon get annoyed. You better fix this then I will download again! Thank you

Not a very good game unfortunately. Batting is insanely easy one game then insanely difficult the next. Same with catching. Triples are singles, ground ball into the outfield is suddenly an out. Pitching controls are all over the place and they weirdly randomly bring you in as a relief pitcher every few innings which is obviously not possible. In my opinion unfortunately the worst new star game with a lot of improvements to the controls and mechanics needed.

Games is fine apart from a few minor tweaks, I think the negative mark for only running one base should be gone and the catching and fielding games should be a little easier but overall it’s great to play.

The part where all new star games falls down is energy and money is scarce. I realise they make money through ads or in app purchases but I would prefer and ad after every game and when you start up so that you can play the game without being forced to purchase to get ahead

I don’t normally review apps but I had to. I did not know how to play baseball before downloading this game but I’m good now. The batting gets harder with the more leagues you win. Overall is very good and the best new star game.

Starts off great but as stars of credit dry up so does your form, eventually getting you to to a point we’re you don’t even have enough energy to be picked for the game as you can’t afford any energy drink !!!

Like the other new star games, this is polished and plays well. But…it has the same annoying traits of the others too. Wages are nowhere near enough to allow you build up your energy and training and accessories, in my cynical view it’s to get some in-app purchases out of you to cut corners. 
Gameplay is ok but has the flaws of other games. Sometimes the game just decides you’re going to slice the ball, miss the catch, mess the pitch up etc.  The other annoyance is the ‘coaching’ you get. Coach tells you base 3 is risky so you don’t go for it but the commentary says you’re crap for not going.
All in all, I played this for two days before getting annoyed in the same way I did with cricket and football so deleted it. Slow progress and a lot of ad’s, but a well written, slick, game that would be really addictive we’re it a little more user friendly and forgiving.

I enjoy this game, the mechanics work but there are some issues.

1. Swiping up to run is senseless. Initial a better control as iPhone screens are not a fan of this action

2. Season performance and star ratings are a joke. I’ve just finished a full season, batting average .682 139RBI with 40+ HR and I’ve been demoted for poor performance.

Pitching and batting are fun but the rest needs work.
