Difficult to navigate.
Maybe it’s just me but how do I search for a story or a journalist on the app? I have to go on google and ensure the endless streams of ads. Also why turn comments off when it involves potentially controversial reporting. Isn’t that the point of comments to get the debate going.
App full of adverts to scam sites and no way to report them
Would give it a much better rating is links to scams were removed
Local news
The app is great to keep up with local news but the amount of glitches and adverts is ridiculous. You try to scroll down the page and you end up on some stupid advert.
RIP off subscription
I started using the app as it was a good experience. However a major change has happened. The content is limited to 25 free articles per week and then premium content behind a paywall. Do not subscribe- open Safari. The premium content is all free on their website. I’ll be deleting the app & using the web.
Error 1000
Subscription is active using Apple sign in fails on error 1000 … what’s wrong?
NOT WORKING
The app is not working correctly over past 5 days have deleted and reinstalled app 6 times still no joy, the application needs attention to resolve issues but reporting problems do not result in any action
Newcastle bias
If you support Newcastle your in……if you support Sunderland it’s like the dental provision in the UK…not fit for purpose. Overall app slow total waste of time since it was updated…doesn’t even cover any Sunderland match now….such a shame as this was my go to newspaper for news…..SORT IT OUT if you want it fit for the whole northeast…
Rubbish
Worst app I've ever used constantly crashes on iPhone when you look at comments, you email feedback and they tell you your the only person it us happening to, yes ok I'm sure it is more like everybody else just stopped using it, a primary school kid could design a better app than this
Pathetic support
Issue reported with constant crashing when trying to view comments four months ago, still not rectified or contact from developer
