The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island's largest cultural organization, preserves and protects the best of Newport County's architectural heritage. It's 11 historic properties and landscapes - seven of which are National Historic Landmarks - trace America's architectural and social development from the Colonial era through the Gilded Age. In keeping with its mission, the Society strives to offer its members and the public a comprehensive view of each property's architecture, interiors, landscapes, and social history.

As soon as you select a language and try to start the tour - the app crashes.

The Breakers
Love the mansion. Super disappointed that The Breakers website IS NOT the website that is the official place to learn how to participate in all of the tours. Big shock to us and almost ruined our day.
Retired Hollywood Location Manager - “Heavenly Sites”
As a retired Hollywood, location manager, retired from scouting and managing locations for movies TV shows and commercials, visiting the Newport Mansions and these authentic locations from the HBO series. The Gilded Age is a real treat. The app is amazing. Your guided audio tour is perfectly compartmentalized and not too long, but full of information . highly recommended.

We have enjoyed using this app during our mansion visits! Although downloading can take some time (depending on cell and WiFi access), it is well worth it to download the tours for each house. Thanks fir providing this service!
