Every news organization has its own biases, even the ones who say they don't.
But with Newzit you will always get both sides of a story.
You might see articles that upset you but there is no fake news, because we won't index the sites who produce it.
Pay-walled sites are treated the same as everyone else, although their content will be flagged for users.
In time the home pages you visit most often will be presented to you first.
So far we have indexed 900+ US sites and 200+ UK sites.
Shortly we will be adding news sites from Australia, New Zealand and Canada with Top
Story options for those countries to follow.
Key features:
• You can either use the search bar or browse the day’s 60 Top Stories in the US and UK, picked strictly by algorithm.
• Top Stories are presented for the US and UK. You can toggle between the two by clicking the relevant flag at the top of the page.
• By clicking the 'See more version' button for each group you will be shown the same story as covered by other sites.
• You can also click on any of the most-searched terms of the moment in the ‘ticker tape’ at the top of the page.
• Thumbnails of popular home pages for the US and UK are included so you can see at a glance what is going on in your country and visit those sites directly by clicking the relevant page.
• Enjoy Newzit in dark-mode if you prefer.

Can't read any article
I touch a story to read, but nothing happens. This used to be my go-to for news. Please fix it!
IOS Update
No longer working with 18.1.1
Useless since iOS update
Used to be a good app, now for the last 2 updates of iOS unable to click through on any news item
Can no longer click to read the articles
It was quite good until I upgraded to IOS 18. Now I can’t click on any articles to read them. It’s also annoying when it keeps scrolling back to the top when I’m trying to scan through the headlines
Good but could be a lot better
I like this app as it gives good access to news from a wide range of sources what let's it down it's it technical behaviour. The most annoying is the constant resetting to the top news story which I think happens when you get a new story. As I am halfway down I have to re scroll down to where I was. This is very annoying when it happens again and again and leaves me sometimes turning the app off in frustration. The other annoying thing which has started to happen is pressing a button and the app going black which has happened often in the last few days. Once it goes black you cannot get the news back and have to delete the app and reinstall. If the tech probs could be sorted this would be a great app as it is now it is ok
Annoying
Don’t try to listen to Spotify through your phone while using this app - for some reason, this app keeps killing Spotify. Very annoying. Sorry guys, I will be avoiding in future unless you make improvements.
Needs tweaks
I do like this app and use it at times, this is potentially a very good app, but is let down by a few things that would improve it quite a bit, if they were in it I would probably move from my regular news app to this one permanently The ability to block and or hide sources of your choosing. Automatically hiding sites that are pbehind a paywall if you are never likely to use them The option to hide articles based on keywords and subjects allowing you to still use it l, for example if you are trying to avoid sports results or want to avoid news on a certain event.

Utter garbage. The user has to suffer cookie approval screens before reading articles, intrusive part screen blocking ads. or maybe being required to complete a survey before continuing to read an article. One to be avoided.
