For multilingual and foreign readers, a number of titles in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch have been added to the catalogue... and many more will be added very soon.
Nextory offers a personal monthly subscription formula, the amount of which varies depending on country, currency and taxes.
A free trial period is available. If you unsubscribe at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period, you won't pay anything. After the trial period, you will be charged for a first month's subscription.
The purchase will be charged to the user's iTunes account when they confirm their purchase.
The subscription is automatically renewed at the end of each month, unless the user cancels at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
All subscriptions are non-binding and can be cancelled at any time from the user's iTunes or Apple device (Settings > iTunes Store and App Store > Apple IDs > Show Apple ID > Manage). The subscription will then be terminated at the end of the current billing period.

I wanted to be able to subscribe to audible books in Swedish. You cannot subscribe on the app, but must subscribe via the web. The App Store allowed me to download an app called « Nextory, » but the website had me download a different app with the same name. When that confusion was rectified, and my account was created, I found myself woefully “resident in France,” when I never mentioned France, and I am unable to change countries “until October.” My language choices are limited to languages from a to k, nothing comes up after k, so books in Swedish don’t even as appear as available on the app… Very disappointing result from three hours of effort.
Not fair😔
I can’t read any books😔. It keeps saying that this book is not available for my geographic location, and most of the books are in French. I don’t know French so I can’t read them, and the ones I do find in English are either unavailable or I have to subscribe to read them, and I have no money to do so😔. Why me?😭

Sadly these books are not available to me. I typed in Spanish and every Spanish book that interested me was not available in my region.

Great App and Service
J’adore le service Youboox, mais il y a un problème avec la fonction de lecture de texte avec des synthétiseurs de parole. Ça dépense toute la batterie d’un coup. En plus, entre chaque paragraphe le lecteur faite une trop longue pause.

Reasonably priced French books for learning
If you're learning French, this is a nice source of free books to practice reading.
If you want a larger selection of books, you can pay a reasonable subscription fee and enjoy ad-free reading.
My only complaint: It is not designed to work with the built-in dictionary. It is very difficult to select a word to define without changing the page.
