I have unlocked the Ruby Seasons tier since my top cards is in 1 Star Ruby, but the game will not let me play it. Each time I try it just puts me back to the Season selection screen. This is the first time this has happened - I played all the Seasons tiers up until Ruby with no problem. Fix/help needed. Also, the game tries very hard to get you to spend money - it’s very close to pay-to-play if you want to progress to the higher tiers. Would be nice to have some featured Events that don’t revolve entirely around trying to force players to spend real money on tokens (e.g. Forward Progress and Time of Possession).
Really cool game but I only managed to play an hour or so before the game crashed on me and now every time I try to open the app it says “checking keys” before timing out and saying press to start again. Seems like it could be fun but it’s your typical pay to get a huge advantage and eventually being F2P becomes nearly impossible without heavy grind. It follows a similar system to other card collecting games where the players don’t matter, the rating does. I can have a Jefferson be the worst card on my team while Fields is my best QB and torching everyone.
Good, time killing game and I haven’t had to watch a single ad. So massive win for that. The only thing stopping a 5* is I find too many ‘likely’ plays seem to fail. I feel when I basically max out play choice, player matchups and play rating I’m usually met with surprise it’s failed more than I see it actually be successful. Their could be many worse things in a game though!
Change from % to arrows and text is terrible graphically and visually but also makes it much less enjoyable to play :/
Call me salty idc, but what do the percentages even mean? I’ve had 7 plays in a rows with completion percentages of >50% (mostly >70%) and only one of them come through?? So my odds are greater than a flip of a coin and I’m still losing 90% of the time? And the Ai can steamroll me with plays <15%? Extremely basic game with broken chance rolls
10/10 everything the game is brilliant
You consistently lose plays that have 80+ % chance of winning, your opponent frequently wins when only having 20% or less chance of winning. The game is fun but after losing too many games where I’ve had 4 plays of 0 yards, all while being told each one had a chance of success of over 80% is absurd, I had to delete The success rate percentages are totally wrong and ruin the game
Game is good, a bit slow to progress and you have loads of coins but can’t get anyone good, if you can update the game modes and allow better prizes that would make it great!
The game is fun, it’s quite simple and easy to pick up, but in my opinion lacks some complexity that is hopefully there in the coming expansions. There have been multiple occasions where I fail back to back 90% success (basically Nat 20s) and where on the first play of a defensive drive, the AI chooses a pass, I read, and all my players beat theirs to a pulp, leading to a 10% chance (Nat 1 no modifier) of success on the play, and they absolutely dime a 20 yard pass. I’m aware of any given Sunday but when the objective on the mission is to force a turnover on downs from the 10 yard line, and I as a player do everything in my power to make it so that they have basically no chance of landing, and it lands, I feel a little robbed. Also in some cases you have to score a touchdown on a certain number of plays, I was on the 4 yard line, but the down marker was 3 yards away, and the game didn’t give me any options that would achieve a touchdown, so I failed the mission called playbook master, because my 3 options that I am forced to take are unable to achieve that, bit annoying. But yes, the game is fun, and I am sure that when I unlock more plays, I will be able to remove these issues. The percentage being unable to go above 90 or below 10 still miffs me tho, you’re telling me a high school team has a a 1 in 10 chance of landing a 40 yard flea flicker against the legion of boom because of “AnY GiVeN sUnDay” really?
