I like this app for charting, but I wish there was an option for it to show the dates in calender view when you show multiple cycles together. I also wish there was an insights tab where it shows how the cycles compare to each other. Otherwise, it is very helpful.
Great alternative to paper charting. Please update to allow for multiple colors ie BC or PGY. Currently you can only choose one which is limiting. Thanks!
I love having this app available to assist with tracking my wife’s cycle. Our son sleeps in our room and is a very light sleeper, so it was very inconvenient to try tracking via paper at the end of the day without a light. My wife and I are able to consistently track her cycle with ease using this app. I do wish we could sync this app between our phones, so she could see the chart in real time - possibly if we could have a shared account for her to long into when needed?
So glad there is an app for Creighton charting. Two things I have on the wish list: 1. I wish that when viewing 6 or more cycles on my iPhone, it would be formatted better with the start of each cycle on a new line. It’s formatted correctly when viewing 3 months but not when viewing more than 3 months. Makes hard to read and share. 2. I wish that the number of days in each cycle would be indefinite, automatically numbered til the next cycle begins. Not a big deal. Just have to go back and edit the cycle once it’s over.
The app is far more convenient than lugging around the printed chart or trying to remember everything at the end of the day. It is fairly simple to use, but I do have some suggestions for improvement: Allow for longer cycles. For some that have irregular cycles, they can go for longer than 32 days. Either allow for a 35 day and 40 day, or try to get away from making people pick a cycle length at all. Consider instead a pop up box when someone enters an indicator that is considered a period day, asking them if they would like to start a new cycle. Or add it to the list of selections for each day.
This app is phenomenal! It makes it easy to chart each day. However, I tried to share via email with my NFP instructor and she didn’t get it. It did share via iMessage with my husband. This is a crucial feature hat should be fixed. I understand the cycle length is arbitrary since you can override, but it would still be nice to be able to change it after initially setting up a new cycle. Plus, a cycle was longer than expected and I couldn’t add more days. Overall, this is such a helpful app. Thank you for creating it!
After 18 years of practicing NFP we switched from paper charts to this app, which I’ve been using now for 18 months. Before this app, it was a hassle to keep the paper charts in a convenient location, not run out of stickers, and record observations nightly, so I often would update every few days (error prone). With this app it is easy and enjoyable to chart consistently every night and collaborate with our NFP practitioner. Very helpful!
Favorite features: -Takes the guesswork out of stamps -Dropdown options make charting so easy -Option to share as HTML link (for instructor) or as file to load into same app on another’s (husband’s) iPhone if desired Tips -Whatever cycle length you indicate DOESN’T MATTER as it can be overwritten by future cycles -Press UPDATE to save each day I am so grateful for this excellent app.
I love the Creighton method, but we will be sticking with paper charting for our full time charting for now. My biggest ask would be to have a sort of collaboration feature in which either I or my husband could chart and then our apps would sync together. Most of the time, my husband charts on paper for me, so it helps encourage a shared experience. This app doesn’t support that currently, because it is on one phone or the other. The current share feature seems to be more for sharing with a practitioner or doctor. If either my husband or I could chart and sync our apps together, it would boost the potential for me to use the app.
