Night Vision is a free app that utilizes the LiDAR scanner and TrueDepth Camera on iPhones and iPads to scan and detect distances in completely dark environments.
Principle:
In well-lit environments, the device uses the rear standard camera in conjunction with the LiDAR Scanner or TrueDepth Camera for imaging to ensure optimal image quality. However, in completely dark environments, imaging is solely handled by the rear LiDAR scanner or infrared camera.
Supported devices:
All Apple devices with LiDAR scanning capabilities or the Face ID feature are supported.
Features:
- Real-time push: push night vision images to Apple Watch, Mobile phones, Tablets, and Computers in real-time, and view night vision images in real-time
- Distance detection: You can customize the minimum distance and detection area. The app provides real-time vibration prompts whenever the set detection range or minimum distance is reached.
- Take photos: The app allows you to capture photos and save them to the system album.
- Video Recording: You can record LiDAR video in conjunction with Regular Camera video and save the footage to the system album.
- Camera switch: You are free to switch between the LiDAR camera and the regular camera as needed.
