I highly recommend this app because it has many of Nintendo’s greatest soundtracks, but you can only use it if you have Switch Online. 5/5

I’ve wanted this for so long. Awesome app. Love that you can extend the songs as well. This is the best way to listen to F-Zero X soundtrack!

Great app

Its great to be able to listen to Nintendo game soundtracks in one, easily accessible app. Obviously the list of games isn’t exhaustive but some really great soundtracks have been included and it seems Nintendo are going to continue to add to it. Very happy

The Good and Bad of Nintendo Music

This app is a nice way of listening to Nintendo's catalogue of video game soundtracks. Its unique features like track extension and spoiler block are thoughtful. While the music selection is serviceable at the moment, the frequency of additions is too slow. Here are some negatives about this app: 1) The "drip feed" mechanic. Nintendo has numerous soundtracks ready to be added, but they chose to only give us one game soundtrack a week. If they insist on keeping this up, I would prefer if they add more than one game soundtrack each time. Two or three albums, depending on how much tracks there are within them, would be greatly appreciated. 2) The absence of composer credits. Every music track lacks credits in the IP Notices. The composers deserve the recognition for making the music and having it featured in the app. 3) A Nintendo Switch Online membership is a requirement. While this doesn’t bother me since I'm already subscribed, some people who aren’t will probably never use this app. Signing in should instead be optional. This app could instead allow non-subscribers to still use it, but there would be the occasional advertisement. Anyone who is subscribed can use it the same as before. 4) Some tracks are missing and some have even been removed. I don’t know about the other soundtracks, but the Splatoon 2 soundtrack has missing and removed tracks. For example, the music from the Coccyx Phase from the Octo Expansion is absent, and Nintendo recently removed tracks that, despite being added by mistake, deserved to stay. If any other game soundtracks have missing tracks, they should be added. Now let's talk about the positives: 1) Convenience This app provides Nintendo soundtracks in one place and is easy to use. Being able to play music while using a different app or with the screen off is fantastic. 2) Track Extension Some tracks allow you to extend their duration to fifteen, thirty, or even sixty minutes. This is great for repeating tracks without it fading out and starting again, allowing seamless looping. 3) Spoiler Block This feature allows you to prevent certain game soundtracks from playing. It's useful for hiding potential game moments, music, and titles that might hint at a major story revelation. It would seem strange to use it for games like nintendogs and Brain Training, but it makes sense for newer, story-driven games. 4) Quality The soundtracks provided by this app are of high quality and are a delight to listen to. In conclusion, this

Edit: still excellent app but as feared they’re drip feeding content at an excruciating Nintendo pace. Not gonna cut it, adjusted rating to 2star. Speed it up please, your catalog is beyond massive. Original below: Just a wonderful little app. Listening to Pikmin4 right now, everything super smooth and some nice dedicated features just for gaming music. I prefer this UI to Apple Music, it’s just very simple to use and browse. All features I could want are already present, including downloads. Can’t wait for the catalog to increase, please don’t do this super slowly! Your backlog is massive, 1-2 albums a month ain’t gonna cut it, please do big releases of content. If you’re reading, add Wind Waker, thanks! Hurt
