A NIPE practitioner needs to confidently distinguish between normal and abnormal to ensure that babies who need to be are referred appropriately and receive treatment promptly.
NIPE textbook in a pocket™ has been designed to help NIPE practitioners develop confidence and competency in screening for neonatal conditions. The detailed information for systemic physical examination is helpfully structured to address important learning areas for each of the screening elements.
Note that the NIPE standards and pathways on which this app is based are for UK only, users outside the UK should refer to their own national standards.
