Fabulous audio!
I’ve used various digital and audio Bibles over the years. This one is, by far, my favorite. It’s not an easy thing to do a good reading of the Bible. This reading is great!

So wonderful voice of David Sucher. I do love this the best among the many audio bibles. His voice naturally comes in my heart like the waters soaking into soil. A negative point is the dysfunction of highlight verse with audio.
I’ve had this app for years, it’s been one of my favourites! With the recent update we have seen a new feature allowing us to visibly highlight verses, thank you! So helpful! The update also has created some short comings, please can you change them for a better experience for phone users: - Scrolling between chapters, was a nice slide, you could see where you were going, now it just jumps and is hard to control! - I suffer from Dyslexia and the mono-font style text that was used before made reading so much more easier, helped me read my Bible with ease, this is the only app that has catered for Dyslexic people! - The verses followed along highlighted as David read aloud, it was very easy to follow along and pause so I could reflect. So very helpful due to having dyslexia my eyes would easily skip lines, having it highlighted makes following the words so much more easier and enjoyable! - When you press the play button, it plays where you were last at rather than the chapter you’ve selected, you have to manually click on the verse and tell it to play, causing a hinderance. My thoughts are if you make the app as easy to use, not only people will want to use it, but will encourage others to read the Bible more as it’s easier to access!
For a VoiceOver user, it is being generous for me to award two stars. The following things were not accessible to me at all: – Apart from the navigation bar at the bottom, almost everything else was in accessible. I could not start the menu. I could not change books without unloading the app and reloading. If you are blind or a voice over user, this app is not for you.
I agree with all the challenges reported. The reading and emphasis is great but text does not follow reading for long and loses altogether when phone goes into battery save mode. The highlighting when I’d does follow is hard to see. Moving forward or back is clumsy. At end of book, it stops and now does not automatically move to next book. I use it when driving so the lack of following or of changing books is a real issue esp on a long journey and across the shorter books. I have raised the issues repeatedly by email, and to no avail. Come on guys, to a programmer this is not rocket science. You need to do better….
Thought I’d give this app a go as an affordable way to have access to NIV audio Bible offline, but the lack of ability not to skip/rewind audio is very frustrating! The only options are to skip/rewind a whole chapter or to go into the app and then select a verse to play from. Quite disappointing given that this is a feature in pretty much every other audio app. Developers, can you please add this basic feature? That would make the app so much better! Thanks
It was great while it worked but on my old iPad iOS 12.5 it sits there unused as it won’t open up. Sad. Very sad. Maybe Poirot could help?!
I purchased this app years ago in oder to follow the ‘Bible in a year’ plan read by David Suchet. With the last ‘update’, this feature was removed - without any prior notice. I really miss the daily reading and feel totally cheated.
David brings something truly special to the reading of The Word of God - he is simply sublime and brilliant.
Why have they changed their (well Everything) When David is talking now the pages don’t move anymore so you have no idea where David is reading from It takes ages to find where he’s reading from I’m very upset and I want the old one back And normally you can see the bibles word highlighted well not on this one it is highlighted but very faintly and if you’re a poor eyesight sufferer you won’t see this highlighted this is terrible app now and altogether to technical for people who are not familiar with how to use a computer Aimee Media please change the app back to what is was before Or your going to loose a lot of people who would normally find this a great comfort in their life and sometimes you’ll find that this is the only comfort that they have in their lives But now it’s unusable for them they are lost Thanks for listening and correcting the issue with previous issues it’s much appreciated However if The Developers Could Fix This Problem Then It Would Be Perfect As the text is read by David Suchet the words do move along with his voice now Fantastic!!!! But it Stays on The Same Page So if You Put Your device Down and Then Come Back To Read It Again It’s Still On The Same Page Extremely Extremely Frustrating I Need This To Work Properly Because I Can’t Always Use My Arms Please Help
