NOMO CAM Reviews

used to love this app

I NEED A ROCKETSHIP! on

i used to love this app. i paid for a ton of the cameras and used them constantly and then they decided to make it subscripton based so now i have to constantly pay to use the same ones i already paid for?? yeah i’m not doing that - i already paid once and now you’re gonna flip around and change it so i have to keep paying?? not cool. the people who had the app before and already bought the cameras should’ve been grandfathered in.

Used to be good

Was a great app until I switched to the iPhone 16pro. Now most of the cameras glitch and don’t work right. Needs to be updated to be compatible. Used to use it instead of my iPhone camera app. Now I don’t use it as it doesn’t work like it should

As much as I’d love to love this app, I just cannot and I’m shocked that it even has this high a rating. The fact that most of the cameras has watermarks on them just doesn’t cut it for me. Unbelievable they’d charge for that with no option to remove. The UI is also just an absolute mess. Add to the fact that the image effects aren’t really that great. Greatly disappointed I must say.

amazing

This app is amazing! The biggest and only negative for me is not being able to save at higher resolutions. Right now it saves as 10mp regardless of what size the image you imported is. Overall I love this app and it’s my favorite app on my phone!

I would pay for it, but…

I really like the idea of the app and the free camera is pretty cool, but I hate that you can only get access to the other cameras via a subscription. I’d happily pay for these cameras, either individually or as a pack. It’s a shame that it’s locked behind a subscription.

I’ve been using this app since it first came out and I willingly fork out for the Pro subscription. This is like Toyland for camera buffs. The individual camera details are a delight, with dials and sounds and settings that make using them a joy. Thanks to the developer!

Great app, but please update!

This is still the single best film simulation camera on iOS. The police add support for the latest devices, especially for camera control!

Nice camera styles, but limited without subscription.

Really cool vintage point and shoot camera types. You can get some lovely shots with the different cameras. There are light leaks and film endings on some models. Some wide-format types as well. Overall, I love the camera types and ease of use of the app. My major complaint is that you can buy some camera types, but others are “Pro Only,” which means you have to pay for a subscription to use them. I will not pay on subscription basis. I hate subscriptions. Making every camera purchasable and/or making PRO unlock-able with a one time purchase rather than subscription would make this a 5 star app.

No updates whatsoever

Used to be an amazing app, but there hasn't been any updates/new cameras in what feels like at least 1-2 years. Bug update was 4 months ago lol. A waste of money at this point.

Point and Shoot!

Throughout the years, I’ve owned many cameras: film, digital, rangefinders, SLRs, and point and shoots etc. This app essentially turns your iPhone into a point and shoot on steroids and … IM LOVING IT. It has made me enjoy shooting again, and proves the cliche: “the best camera is the one you have with you”. I look, I see, I shoot, and accept the wonderful little imperfections and randomness of the impressively realistic film simulations. No need to develop film, or import and edit the pictures in post, … what you see is what you get! So much fun!
