Description

Onward, Voyager to Orkney and Shetland. Discovering the Northern Isles of Scotland has never been easier with NorthLink Ferries! Download our app to purchase tickets, check sailings and more.

With stunning coastlines, unrivalled wildlife and ancient monuments, the islands are a perfect destination to explore. And with comfortable and reliable crossings, their beauty and wonder are just a sailing away.

NorthLink Ferries ships MV Hjaltland and MV Hrossey sail from Aberdeen on the Scottish Mainland to Lerwick in Shetland, with regular calls into Orkney’s capital of Kirkwall.

Alternatively travel to Scrabster in Caithness and sail to Orkney’s port of Stromness. This 90 minute journey on MV Hamnavoe is the only sailing to Orkney which passes the iconic Old Man of Hoy, Britain’s tallest sea stack.

Use the app to book passenger tickets, cabins, vehicles, kennels, meals and other services. You can also view, edit and delete your booking easily, or find out more about the islands and ferries.
