Norway Lights

Choice of cities has been reduced. Shameless pandering to to travel industry. I prefer the scientific predecessor.

Once you open the menu, the only way to back out is by clicking the green X which is now on top of the battery and Wi-Fi symbol, which is beyond the clickable area in the app, so you are trapped. Also, the app button has now been revised to resemble a half-burnt cigarette complete with green smoke (must be menthol). I’d suggest not going with the low bid graphic designer next time. Add to that, if you scroll down too far on the opening page, videos start playing right away with no clue how to get out of them other than to scroll back up as fast as you can. Very annoying. I doubt I’ll be using this. I definitely am not excited about having a graphic resembling a cigarette on my phone. Yuk.

This app used to be really helpful, but it suddenly stopped working over the last few days. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling. It simply doesn’t work and delivers connection errors. So bummed!

This app for looking at the northern lights has actually changed the way I look at my life! Every night, even in a serious snowstorm, the app told me to keep trying every hour. Even when the clouds are heavy and there is no chance to see the lights, it is good to still try. Never give up

Very nice app. Could be useful if notifications were sent to users when it's a good time to "TRY". :)

Lots of pretty aurora pictures, but the attempt to meld aurora activity and cloud cover forecasts into a single icon is too simple for my needs. Like the Norway location based forecasts,but I want to see the latest data for the aurora oval and sun spot activity.

Viser kun forhåndsbestemte steder i nord norge. Så for meg som bor i Harstad, hjelper det fint lite å vite sjansen for nordlys i Tromsø eller Narvik.

Før kunne vi som bor i f. eks. Trøndelag se nordlysprognoser for Trondheimsområdet. Dette er fjernet etter at appen ble oppgradert. Nå er denne appen kun til nytte for folk som oppholder seg i Nordnorge. Det blir for snevert.

Var så bra før den nye oppdateringen! Før kunne man søke på byer og tettsteder og da fikk man ganske nøyaktig varsel med hvilke dager og klokkeslett det var Størst sjanse for nordlys. Etter oppdateringen kan man ikke lenger søke opp. Trøndelag får og mye nordlys også, så savner søkefunksjonen
