Soothing, expensive
I like generative ambient music - there are some terrific apps by Brian Eno and Peter Chilvers that I listen to all the time. So I was intrigued to try Vibes...the graphics are lovely and the spatial audio is very good, but the music fragments and sound recordings that are semi-randomly generated just aren't really interesting enough to me, and there's no option for a one-off purchase. Instead you have to pay £30 every year to own this app. You wouldn't expect to buy an album for £15 and then have to pay £15 every year to continue to own it, right?
A far better option musically and for your wallet is the astonishing EōN app by Jean-Michel Jarre and Bleass studios. It generates beautiful music on the fly and you can buy it for less than £10.

Can’t believe this app is pretty much free, love it !!
Great! I would recommended if trying to focus.
Helps you focus by playing music that you don’t notice is playing in the background but you enjoy at the same time (don’t know how to explain). This is helpful if your busy doing something but want to listen as well. There are different themes which change based off the time of day and you can change them manually. It has spatial audio, there are some ways to configure what the sound sounds like as well. The visuals are a really nice touch. I’ve encountered no bugs with the app so far! A nice idea made into a great app.
Great for focus
So simple, but so effective and really fun. Love the concept and it’s been beautifully delivered. Amazing app.
